Finally, after what feels like an eternity of sold out creepers, trainers and fur slide launches, Rihanna’s complete athleisure collection with Puma is scheduled to launch next week. The collection, will first launch exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman and two pop up-shops within SIX:02, Footlocker’s women’s specialty store, in New York City (125 W. 33rd St.) and Los Angeles (8380 Melrose Ave.) on Tuesday, Sept. 6. On Wednesday, Sept. 7, Puma will release the line at all of its locations, online and at specialty retailers such as Bloomingdale’s. The pop-up shops, which seem to be the hottest wave of the summer, will open at 3 p.m. ET and 12 p.m. PT respectively, with Rihanna making very special appearances, in New York, at Bergdorf Goodman for an exclusive, VIP shopping event and the pop up shop, as well. According to Racked, there will also be a giveaway of 2,500 keys that’ll be placed around New York and LA in restaurants and fitness studios. For those who manage to score, all you have to do is bring it to the pop-ups for special prizes ranging from gift cards to concert tickets!
In regards to the launch, the collection is full of neutrals, unlike her colorful shoe lines with the retailer. With an occasional splash of grey, the fall drop of the Fenty x Puma line is almost exclusively comprised of black and white pieces, made for mixing and matching. The first drop will include a maxi dress, lace up sweaters, sporty pencil skirts, an array of crop tops ranging from Sporty Spice to Ginger Spice, various headscarves and bandanas, and a gorgeous a knee-length Kimono Maxi track jacket.
