Kristin Cavallari Tells WRUW How To Dress For Game Day

Kristin Cavallari is just as familiar as sports as she is with fashion.

The former Laguna Beach star and fashion designer’s husband, Jay Cutler, plays football for the Chicago Bears. Whether she’s rooting from home or attending his game, Kristin’s style game is always winning. We caught up with the celebrity to find out how to ditch our boxy, oversized jerseys for something more flattering – because you never know when some rivarly flirting could begin!

If you’re looking to make your tomboy tee a little more haute for the superbowl, there’s an easy solution. “I love booties, jeans, and a team shirt,” Kristin told us. “My Laurel or Georgie are the perfect booties. You don’t want to look like you tried too hard. ”

As much as we want to look good, wearing giant heels to a big game just isn’t practical. Kristin suggests ditching them for the main event. “I pretty much only wear booties; you can’t go wrong with them.”

The fashionaista is firm believer when it comes to the phrase, “less is more.” On game days Cavallari says you don’t have to go all out. “I usually keep accessories pretty simple. It’s better to be understated at a sporting event. Minimal jewelry, a great pair of booties and you are good to go.”
